The Biocybernetics Research and Teaching Laboratory is housed in 4440 Boelter Hall. In addition to modest computing resources and an area for teaching small laboratory classes (Computer Science - Biomedical Engineering C196L/296L), it is approved and equipped for experimental physiological, biochemical and pharmacological research. Primary laboratory funding for the last two decades has been provided by multi-year R01 grants from the National Institutes of Health as well as several biomodeling research grants from the National Science Foundation and experimental and software development research from Abbott Laboratories and Genentech.
